KIXR Battle of the Band Rules:
1. Contestants must be 21 years of age to enter.
2. Submitted entries must be original music with clean language.
3. All taxes are the responsibility of the prize winner. Winner may be required to complete a W-9 for tax purposes.
4. Prizes may not be substituted or transferred.
5. Prizes are offered as is with no written or express warranty.
6. KIXR - Power 104.7 is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
7. Entries must be accompanied by an entry form signed and dated by the entrant(s).
8. The Station and sponsors are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or other transmission failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or incomplete garbled or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by the Station, users, by any equipment or programming utilized in promotions, contests, or by human error which may occur in the processing of submissions, which may limit a participant’s ability to participate.
9. Employees of KIXR - Power 104.7 , and its properties, sponsors, vendors and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
10. Winners will be required to sign a release form agreeing to release and hold harmless KIXR - Power 104.7, its officers, directors, employees, sponsors, partners, agents, assigns and affiliated companies from any legal fees, as a result of participation in the contest and/or use of the prize.
11. KIXR - Power 104.7 is not responsible for rescheduling performance of show cancellation, weather conditions, promoter, performer, travel arrangements or events beyond the control of the station.
12. KIXR - Power 104.7 retains all entries will remain the property of KIXR - Power 104.7 once received.
13. No purchase necessary to enter. Void where prohibited.
14. All decisions of KIXR - Power 104.7 are final.
15. Contestants must be available to perform if chosen at the Kay County Free Fair September 13, 2008 as well as Willie’s Lakeview Lounge on November 8, 2008.
16. Deadline for entry is August 31, 2008.
17. Final elimination date will be determined by the number of entries.
18. Judges decisions are final.
